Carol Duling

Carol Duling “The General” (nee Quinn), passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at the age of 88, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Gerald “Jerry” Duling; loving mother of Sue (Dale) Duling and Nettie (Doug) Reiser; dear grandmother of Joe (Christina) Reiser, Shannon (Mike) Mayhall, Claire Reiser and Dana (Stuart) Stevens; great-grandmother to Michelle and Madison Mayhall, Connor and Lily Reiser, Ella, Anna and Everett Stevens; aunt and sister-in-law to many. Preceded in death by her husband Jerry Duling, and sister, Joyce Quinn.  

Carol graduated from St. Louis University School of Nursing. She spent many years in the service of others during her nursing career.  

Carol enjoyed her time at Innsbrook with family and friends, it was truly a place for gathering and making special memories. It was also her and Jerry’s special place. She was always the life of the party. She had a quick wit and a free spirit. Carol loved her Indian Hills family and also enjoyed traveling with friends to adventures all over the world.
