Carmelita Lance

Carmelita Lance (nee Jacques), of Wentzville, MO, passed on Saturday November 11, 2017, at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Jimmy Lance; beloved daughter of the late Clyde and Zelma Jacques; devoted mother of Jim (Suzanne) Lance, Brent (Julie) Lance, and Christopher (Kristen) Lance; cherished grandmother of Brent Lance, Jr., Alexandra (Ryan) Brown, Jordan Lance, Tyler (Whitney) Lance, Sydney Lance, Dalton Lance, Connor Lance, Olivia Lance, Holly Lance, Cooper Lance, Brendan Lance, Henry Lance; treasured great-grandmother of James Lance, Caleb Moushey, and Eloise Moushey; dearest sister of Peggy (William) Hill, Jerry (Shirley) Jacques, Jonell (Thomas) Everett, Luella Acres, Clyde (Judy) Jacques, Jr., Linda (Joe) Swafford, and Tommy Jacques. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jacky Jacques.

Carmelita was the former co-owner, with her husband, of Northside Citgo in O’Fallon, MO. She was a long-time member of Westlake Church of Christ and was a woman of strong faith. Carmelita enjoyed going to watch her sons play football, and loved football more than most. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
