C Lyle Wideman

C. “Lyle” Wideman, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Dana Wideman; cherished son of the late Calvin and Marilyn Wideman. Devoted father of Tabby Powell, loving grandfather of Chloe and Malachi; dear brother of Kelly (Tracy) Wideman, Kerry (Julie) Wideman, and Sandy Wilmering; “funcle” (fun uncle) to a host of nieces and nephews.

Lyle loved God with all his heart and expressed that love by leading children to Him for over 39 years. He loved playing the mandolin and entertaining people with his antics and comedy. He was one of the world’s biggest Batman fans, proven by the Bat Cave he had in his basement and all his Batman memorabilia. Lyle loved his family more than anything in the world and will be missed by so many. 

Celebration of Life will be held at Element Church (Fireside Location) in Wentzville, MO on August 18th, 2022 at 1p.  

Memorials may be made in Lyle’s name to Children's Diabetes Research Foundation.
