C. Barry Schechterly

C. Barry Schechterly of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Doris E. Schechterly; cherished son of the late Allan Edward and Martha Elizabeth Schechterly; devoted father of Joyce (Dan) Kallbrier, Alan Edward (Special friend Jane Powell) Schechterly, and Gary (Dorothy) Schechterly; loving grandfather of 8, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; dear brother of Bonnie (Allan) Wysocki, Elizabeth Laubach, David (Nancy) Schechterly, and Gail (David) Terry; beloved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Barry is preceded in death by his dear brother, Bill Schechterly.

Barry was a devoted member of Christview Christian Church in St. Charles, Missouri. He had a passion for collecting model trains and spent many years on a bowling league. A loyal sports fan, he loved cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles. Barry was deeply devoted to his family and always looked forward to family gatherings, playing games with them, and often taking charge of the barbecuing. After retiring, he and his late wife, Doris, enjoyed traveling around the country in an RV together. Barry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
