C.J. Smith

Smith, C.J., of O’Fallon, MO, died on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the age of 82. Loving husband of Emily Smith; beloved son of the late William and Claudia Smith; devoted father of Michael (Hollie) Smith, Sharon Turner, Cynthia (John) Benisch, June Balcom, and the late Raymond Edes; cherished grandfather of Laura Ring, Justin Balcom, Kaila Smith, Bon Turner, Ashleigh Turner, Kendell Benisch, Michael Benisch, Shawn Edes, Melanie Bradshaw, Scott O’Dell, Josh O’Dell, Missy Cook, Brock Benisch, Ariel Furst, and David Furst; treasured great-grandfather of sixteen; and dear brother of Mary Driskill, Edna Turner, Wanda Miller, and the Late Goldie Smith and W.B. Smith.

C.J. worked for McDonnell Douglas and was a member of American Legion Post 323 in Wentzville. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
