Bruce Edward Upton, Jr.

Bruce Edward Upton, Jr., of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Nancy R. Upton; beloved son of the late Bruce Edward Upton, Sr. and Helen Penn; devoted father of Julie (DeWayne) Mason and Paul (Kathy) Upton; cherished grandfather of Sarah Elizabeth (Martabel) Mason, Emily Ruth Mason, Samantha Christine Mason, Bridget Elaine (Branden) Upton, Maxwell Edward Upton, and Bryce Christopher (Jennifer) Mason; cherished great-grandfather of Rilo Daisy Wasserman; dear brother of Lila Fulmer.

Proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and had a strong love for his family. During his employment at McDonnell Douglas, he spent time living in Australia. Bruce had a passion for travel and a great fondness for Dixieland Jazz. Winters were spent at their Florida home, where he enjoyed capturing moments through his lens, as photography held a special place in his heart. Bruce's affectionate nature touched the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Bruce's name to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
