Brian Strehl

Brian Michael Strehl, of Florissant, MO, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at the age of 57. Devoted father of Gabriel Strehl, Addison Strehl, Alayna Strehl, Genevieve Strehl and Bennett Strehl; cherished son of the late Bernard and Donna Strehl; dear brother of Michael Strehl, Laura (Joe) Tortorici, Mark (Candi) Strehl and Lisa (Steve Altman) Strehl; loving uncle of Sophia Strehl, Joey Tortorici, Siena Strehl, Liliana Strehl, Mason Altman, Evan Altman and Noah Strehl.
Brian dedicated over 32 years at the St. Louis Police Department as an accomplished officer. He received Officer of the Year in 1998 and 1999, multiple Officer of the Month Awards, Awards of Excellence, and Chief's Letter of Commendations throughout his career. After retirement, Brian joined the UMSL Police Department. He had a passion to help others and was very dedicated to his community.
Brian loved his family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He supported his children through their sporting events and taking them out for pizza. Brian always looked forward to the trips to Pensacola with his children every year. In his free time, Brian enjoyed antique shopping and finding a new renovation project around his house. He also loved music, especially the Beatles and Elton John. Brian was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Brian's name to Saint Michaels Army.
