Brian Edward Russell

Brian Edward Russell, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the age of 45. Cherished son of Sheli (Mark) Palmer and Ed (Giny) Russell; cherished grandson of Gerry Fischer; dear brother of Kyle (Jenn) Palmer, Aubri Palmer, Hillary (Chad) Hartmann, and stepbrother of Casey (Camilla) Hunt; treasured nephew of Sheri (Mark) Worth; beloved uncle of Hudson Palmer, Dakota George, Luke Hartmann, and Harry Hartmann; cousin of Kelly Sweeney and Jill Sweeney Haupt. Preceded in death by grandparents, Shelby and Mary Ann Russell, and Richard Fischer, and Aunt, Rose Ellen Sweeney.

Brian was a tool and dye machinist by trade and was also a radio host at 99.9 FM, where he shared his greatest passion—music—which eventually became his career. He had a talent for crafting cigar box guitars and was an avid baseball fan, especially devoted to the St. Louis Cardinals. Brian also had a love for deep-sea fishing, finding joy in the adventure of the open water. Brian was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
