Brian Raymond Evdo, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Laura Catherine (nee Palmatier) Evdo; cherished son of the late Roman and Marjorie Evdo; devoted father of Monica Evdo, Hollie (Dan) Stevenson, and loving stepfather of Liz (Michael Kelley) Stinger and the late Kyle Stinger; cherished grandfather of Mia, Macy, Sylas, McKaylie, Margot, and Paige; dear brother of Joanne (Joe) Zarra.
Brian grew up in New Jersey and was a proud graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and a lifelong Tar Heel alumnus.... and a lifelong rival of Duke! He dedicated more than 45 years to a career in the railcar industry, beginning with ACF industries in New York before relocating to St. Charles, MO; and building countless relationships locally, nationally, and internationally along the way. Brian loved golfing, cycling, and spending time at Table Rock Lake, where he enjoyed boating. He was incredibly social, never met a stranger, and was known for his quick wit, and ability to bring joy to those around him. He loved music, especially James Taylor and Paul Simon, and never took a road trip without their songs playing. Brian also enjoyed watching college basketball, reading, and relaxing by the pool. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Celebration of Life details will be forthcoming.
Memorials may be made in Brian's name to Special Olympics or 5 Acres Animal Shelter.
