Shelburg, Bradley Michael, of Highland, IL, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the age of 30. Loving husband of April Shelburg (nee: Spencer); beloved son of Scott (Geri) Shelburg and Sheral (Mark) Thuernau; devoted father of his twin sons Bryce and Brayden Shelburg; dear brother of Charlea (Mark) McNabb, Jeff (Charity) Shelburg, and Sarah Shelburg; loving uncle of Isabelle Blayney, Casandra Bolte, Melissa McNabb, Burkley McNabb, and Silas Spencer; cherished grandson of John (the late Sharon) Shiels, Jane and Jerry Shelburg, Betty (the late Cletus) Gegg, and Mary Spencer; dear son-in-law of Rick Spencer; and brother-in-law of Anthony (Amber) Spencer.
Bradley proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 7 years. He truly enjoyed family time, his wife and twin sons were his whole world. He graduated from St. Charles West High School where he was a member of the marching band. He participated in Boy Scouts and received the honor of Eagle Scout. He enjoyed playing little league baseball and club hockey. Bradley earned a Bachelors’ degree in Math and Physical Science from Thomas Edison State University. He then went on to earn an MBA as well as a Masters’ degree in Project Management from Ashford University. He was a very kind and compassionate man and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to a Trust Fund assisting his sons’ education. Donations can be made to: John Hancock Freedom 529 for Bryce and Brayden Shelburg.
