It is with deep and shattering sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley Robert Floyd. Bradley was born into this world on January 6, 2005, to Robert and Beverly Floyd and he was an absolute joy from the moment he arrived. Bradley was raised in St. Charles County, Missouri, along with his most amazing big brother, Brendan Floyd. Bradley passed from this world with his parents and brother by his side and he was born into his eternal home on October 15, 2025. Bradley is a treasured grandson of Joyce Bredensteiner (and the late Bob Bredensteiner) and Doug Floyd (and the late Dianne Floyd). Bradley is a cherished nephew of Janet Kontz, Bob (Melissa) Bredensteiner, Lori Bredensteiner and Patti Bredensteiner. Bradley is a loving cousin of Sarah Hanks, the late Hayley Alexander, Benjamin Floyd, Jeffrey Alexander, Garrick White, Trey Bredensteiner, Jackson Bredensteiner, Hannah Alexander, Gracie Alexander and Owen White. Bradley is also a loving great nephew, second cousin and friend to many.
Bradley went to Becky David Elementary School, then to Barnwell Middle School and graduated from Francis Howell North High School in 2023. From a young age, Bradley stood out for his strong, but gentle, spirit and his kind heart. Bradley had the most beautiful smile and loved to make others laugh. He was full of love, light and had an adventurous spirit. He had a unique ability to light up a room and was sensitive to other’s pain.
Bradley was passionate about staying active, cooking himself healthy meals and constantly sought to better himself. As a young child, Bradley LOVED everything about baseball, especially pitching! He was a rockstar pitcher and when he was on the mound in a bit of a slump, his teammates would say “get mad, Brad” and then Bradley would sling the heat! He was incredible to watch on the mound and he would even pitch to Brendan’s team during practices and those players were a lot older than him! Bradley was also an amazing wrestler, weightlifter and gamer! Bradley’s favorite holiday was Christmas and his second favorite was his birthday; he loved being with his family on every holiday! Bradley loved being in the sunshine and relaxing with friends at the pool. He loved driving cars fast, riding wave runners fast, riding in fast boats, tubing fast, and being on roller coasters that went fast! He was a push-it-to-the-limit sort of guy for sure. He loved family vacations, especially the ones to the Caribbean and going on cruises. Bradley also loved taking walks down by the river, whistling with the birds, playing Uno, riding his electric bike, cutting the grass (for real), going to the shooting range and going out to dinner at El Maguey for his favorite chicken and steak fajita nachos. Even when offered a steakhouse, Bradley chose El Maguey!
Bradley lived with purpose and kindness, and his memory will remain a lasting light to all who knew him. We will hold Bradley close in our hearts forever and ever and we will look so forward to seeing him again one day when we cross to the other side.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to MoNetwork or Venmo- @Larry-Bonham to assist with expenses.
