Bobby Lee Rector

Bobby Lee “Bob” Rector, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 45 years to Janet M. Rector; cherished son of the late Willeyne and Clarence Rector; devoted father of Tim (The late Diane) Rector, Bryon (Sharon) Rector, Jason (Donna) Fricke and stepfather of Sherry (Dan) Hochstetler and Kim (Stuart) Atmar; loving grandfather of Jennifer (Tyler) Proemsey, Kristen Rector, Eric Fricke, Brandon Fricke, Sarah (Larry) Phillips, Michelle Cypret, Paul Cypret, Elise (Marcus) Sutton, and Derrick Nelson; treasured great grandfather of Rett Phillips; dear brother of the late Carol Rector, the late June Boschert, and brother-in-law of Dee Rector; uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

Bob was a proud Air Force veteran and a devoted member of both the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. He had a dedicated career at McDonnell Douglas for over 30 years. A man of deep faith, he was a lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. In his free time, Bob found joy in golf and yardwork. He also enjoyed watching baseball and golf on TV and gave his time to volunteer with Meals on Wheels. He was always kind and caring, touching the lives of those around him and liked to spend time with family and friends. Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
