(Betty) Couts; dear son of Nina Gunter and the late Carl F. Gunter (step-father), dear father of Susan Sipp (Henry), Carl W. 'Wayne' Couts (Donna), Clifford 'Dean' Couts (Elaine), Barry J. Couts and Karen E. Rowe (Bradley), brother of Jack Couts; preceded in death by his father Walter S. Couts and sister Wanda Roam; beloved grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 4. Mr. Couts served in the US Army for 20 years & 8 months. He was employed by the St. Charles County Shrifff's Department as a Sergeant in the St. Charles County Jail. He was also a part of the Missouri Highway Patrol for 15 years. He was a former member of American Legion. He was a decorated Korean War Veteran and a Vietnam Veteran.
