Billy Joe Amos

Amos, Billy Joe, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Catherine Amos NEE: Catlett; beloved son of the late Arthur and Matilda Amos; devoted father of Debbie (Michael) Kenney, Carol Amos, Janet (Gary) Calvert and Keli (Jeff) Bohrer; cherished grandfather of Katie (Matt), Joe (Molly), Daniel, Andrew (Emma), Christopher, Sean, Marie, Kellen, Stephen, Sam, Ronelle, Isaiah, David, Zachary, Lukas, Sarah, Nora, Rachel and Alex; treasured great-grandfather of Isabella; dear brother of Jack Amos and his twin sister, Betty (Daryl) Sorenson. Billy Joe is survived and loved by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister Ramona (Robert) Stokes, his sister-in-law Betty Hodges and brothers-in-law Walter King and Joe Catlett and his nephew Bobby Stokes. Billy Joe was employed with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing for 33 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, music from the 30’s and 40’s, gardening, eating watermelon and spending time with his family and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
