Betty Jo Roehl (nee Boyles), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Douglas H Roehl; cherished daughter of the late Fred and Essie Boyles; devoted mother of Brad (Debbie) Roehl and Amy Roehl; loving grandmother of Brandy Williams, Jordan (Cameron) Smith, Dylan (Lindsey) Roehl, Noah Roehl and Aspen Propst; treasured great-grandmother of two.
Betty was married to the love of her life, Douglas, for 54 wonderful years, and together they shared a deep bond and a spirit of adventure, traveling to all 50 states during their time together.
Betty was a reserved and independent woman, known for her intelligence, attention to detail, and gentle spirit. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of First Assembly Church of St. Peters, where her quiet strength and steadfast faith touched those around her.
Family was at the heart of everything Betty did. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, always offering her love, support, and wisdom. She was a natural teacher—loving and caring—who led by example and shared her knowledge with grace.
An avid reader, Betty was an active member of her book club and found joy in the simple pleasure of a good story. She also had a special fondness for cardinal birds, which brought her peace and comfort.
Betty’s legacy is one of faith, love, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be made in Betty's name to First Assembly Church of St Peters or American Heart Association.
