Betty E. McFetridge

Betty Eileen McFetridge (nee James), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late John J. McFetridge; cherished daughter of the late Margaret and Robert James; devoted mother of John "Gary" McFetridge, Dennis (Karen) McFetridge, Donald "Don" (Jeanine) McFetridge, Thomas "Tom" McFetridge, and Greg (Robin) McFetridge; loving grandmother of Julie (Darren) Mann, Scott (Kristen) McFetridge, Molly (Dan) Dougherty, and Adam (Morgan) McFetridge; treasured great-grandmother of Everett, Brennen, Kynlee, Charlotte, Ryan, Colette, Mia, Maddie, Lily, and Drew.

Betty worked as a ground hostess for TWA and American Airlines and was a devoted mother who loved raising her children. She enjoyed visiting the casino, playing card games, gardening, and traveling, especially to Hawaii and Las Vegas. She also loved going to Fast Eddy’s and Charlie Gitto’s, and above all, she truly loved life. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
