Marx, Betty Jean (nee: Riebel), of O’Fallon, MO, died on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the age of 82. Loving wife of William Robert Marx; beloved daughter of the late Rudolph and Emily Riebel; devoted mother of James (Donna) Robert Marx, Daughter, Sheri (Chris) Taylor; dear mother-in-law of Gary Deppermann; cherished grandmother of Christa (Matt) Range, Brittany Marx, Nicole Deppermann, Samantha Jo (Harrison) Menke, and Daniel Taylor; treasured great-grandmother of Luke Range. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Deppermann and her brother, Walter Riebel.
Betty was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church. She enjoyed word searches and spending time with her family.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
