Betty Jean Hollrah (nee Tory), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Norman Hollrah; cherished daughter of the late Charles Tory and the late Dorothy Earner; devoted mother of the late Iris Ann Hollrah, Beverly Hollrah, the late Marla Lynn Hollrah and Julie Renata Admire; loving grandmother of Daria Hollrah and Emma McCoy-Hollrah; treasured great-grandmother of Hazel Hollrah; dear sister of Hazel Rucker, Gerry May and the late Beverly Roberts; Betty is also survived by a host of loved nieces and nephews.
Betty was married to the love of her life, Norman, for over 54 beautiful years. Together, they created countless memories—traveling across the U.S. with their children, RVing, enjoying weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks, and sharing many social events with their strong circle of friends.
Betty had an extraordinary creative spirit. She was a gifted artist who worked mostly in acrylics and pastels, creating beautiful and expressive pieces that reflected her unique view of the world. She also had a natural talent for interior decorating, always bringing beauty and warmth into her home. A wonderful storyteller and a genuinely fun person to be around, Betty’s personality lit up every room she entered.
She loved animals, kept an immaculate home, and took great pride in everything she did. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Betty's name to a no kill animal shelter/rescue organization of your choice or a hospice organization of your choice.
