Betty Hamilton

Betty Lou (Freeman) Hamilton of St Charles, MO, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Robert (Bob) Hamilton. Cherished daughter of Charles and Cora Freeman of Carbondale, IL. Loving mother to Deborah (the late Karl) Weeke, Diane (Matt) Donovan, the late Annette Hamilton, and Robin (Bryan) Bell. Loving grandmother to Vanessa Weeke, Sean Donovan, Kevin Bell, Derek Bell, Nicholas Bell and Lauren Bell. Loving great grandfather of John Bell, Henry Bell, Louis Bell and Charlotte Bell. Betty was a stay at home mother who devoted herself to her family and her church. She was a faithful member of Dardenne Presbyterian Church who volunteered in the Presbyterian Womens Circle. Betty enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with family. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials can be made in Betty’s name to the Alzheimer's Association or Dardenne Presbyterian Church.
