Betty Ann Hahn (née Zerr), of St. Charles, MO, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Hahn; cherished daughter of the late Edgar and Beatrice (née Gaddis) Zerr; devoted mother of David L. Hahn, Patricia K. (the late Howard) Sutton, Alan D. (Nancy) Hahn, and Carolyn S. (Steven) Floyd; loving grandmother of Vickey, Gary, Stephanie, Julie, Wade, Matthew, Alyssa, David, Clinton, Betty, Sherry, Steven, Amanda, Brad, and Zebulon; great-grandmother of Richie, Matthew, Breeya, Allesandra, Emma, Nathaniel, Dylan, Brittney, Jada, Alyssa, Paul, Peyton, Parker, Presley, Austin, Hayley, Kaitlyn, Justin, Ryan, Allen, Ella, Mia, Matthew, Tyler, Micah, Franklin, Kolby and Autumn, Olivia ; great-great-grandmother of Mia, Sierra, Matthew Aiden, Madelyn, Charlotte, Legend and Everett ; and dear sister of Edgar “Smiley” (the late Jean) Zerr.

Betty was preceded in death by her three sons, Gary L. (Pauline survives) Hahn, Michael J. (the late Elaine) Hahn, and Kevin V. Hahn; her daughter, Barbara A. Hahn; grandchildren Paul, Aaron, and Kevin; great-grandchild Christopher; two sisters, Mary (the late Urbie) Burkemper and Carol (the late John) Kreutzer; and two brothers, John (the late Fran) Zerr and Robert (Elke survives) Zerr.

Betty lived a full and vibrant life, finding joy in both simple pleasures and shared adventures. She loved traveling and creating lasting memories, whether on family trips, camping excursions, attending Cardinals games, or enjoying special getaways to Las Vegas with her beloved husband, Vincent. Betty devoted her time to serving as both a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader, positively impacting the lives of many young people through her guidance and care. She enjoyed bowling and sewing and even owned a campground, where she brought people together in a spirit of community and love for the outdoors.

The holidays held a special place in her heart, as she was delighted in cooking for her family and making every celebration feel warm and meaningful. Betty also found joy in bingo nights, casino trips, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Above all, she was deeply loved and cherished. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and connection to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
