Betty Grace Echele

Betty Grace (nee Jones) Echele, age 95, of St. Charles, Missouri passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025, at her home. She was born July 3, 1929, in Whiteside, Missouri to the late James and Irene (nee Roth) Jones. Betty was united in marriage October 21, 1950, to the late Orville C. Echele. They were married for nearly 35 years. Betty is the loving Mother of Mark (Lorraine) Echele, Patricia (Keith) Bolton, Robin Echele and Sandra (Brian) Mahaffey.

Beloved Grandmother of Marlena (Tim Sifuentes) Echele, Andrew Echele, Kristin (Chris) Rechlin; Amanda (Ritchie) Linden; Todd (Michelle) Dovin, Amanda Dovin, Luke (Charleana) Bolton, Kyle Echele, Karie (Dustin) Putnam, Corey Echele, Lauren Mahaffey and Samantha Mahaffey; and numerous Great-Grandchildren and special family that brightened her days.

Betty is survived by her family, her sister Nina (Otto) Hanslick and Brother-in-law Leslie (Rosalee) Echele. and many nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert (Mildred) Spalding, two sisters, Annabelle (Ralph) Kuhlmann and Ruth Ann "Sally" (Wilbert) Holtgrieve, and many in-laws that she loved dearly.

Betty was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo parish and the Orchard Farm Women's Auxiliary VFW Post 4219.

Betty, first and foremost, loved being surrounded by her family. Her door was always open to friends and neighbors. She loved playing cards, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and going on adventures. She was a care giver to all, biggest cheerleader for her family, always added a little fun in each day and was loved by many! She will be missed!
