Betty Marie Dofing

Dofing, Betty M (nee Eachus), of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Friday, July 4, 2026, at the age of 91. Dearest wife of the late George A. Dofing; loving daughter of Gerald E. and Viola C. Eachus; loving mother of Jane (Dave) Kelly, James Dofing, Sandy (Larry) Wiater, and Paul Dofing; cherished grandmother of Jessica (Matt) Misch, Danielle (Jon) Christopher, Casey (Austin) Buzick, Samantha, and Marshall Wiater, Kaylin, Emily and Jacob Dofing, Luke, and Paige Dofing; blessed real great grandmother of Ashley and Audrey, Drew, Noah, and Adri.

She is preceded in death by George A. Dofing, her twin daughters, Mary Ann and Kathleen Marie Dofing; Grandson Drew; Siblings, Geraldine O'Mellan, Leslie Eachus, Dixie Stedman, Buckley Eachus, Barbara Gray, Ervin Eachus and Eveyln Eachus.

Betty was married to the love of her life, George, for 50 wonderful years before his passing. They enjoyed working together, playing cards, and were in a pinnacle group. Betty worked at Faith Hospital, later Barnes West County Hospital, as an operating technician for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. She then worked at the woman's auxiliary for many years at All Saints. Betty helped at Knights of Columbus and spent her last most recent years volunteering with the Funeral Luncheon Committee. Betty was an extremely caring and faithful, loving and nurturing person. She loved to celebrate everyone and their birthdays. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
