Betty Josephine Davidson

August 11, 1933 — February 26, 2026

St. Charles

Betty Josephine Davidson, 92, passed away on February 26, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Betty was born on August 11, 1933, in Bethany, Missouri, to Guy and Maggie Cutshall. She grew up in northern Missouri and graduated from high school in Gilman City. Betty dedicated many years of faithful service as an employee of McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri, retiring at the age of 62.

For much of her adult life, Betty made her home in St. Charles with her beloved husband of 65 years, Bobby. Together, they were devoted members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, where they built lasting friendships and faithfully served their church community. After Bobby’s passing in 2020, Betty moved to Charleston to live with her youngest son, Jerry, where she remained surrounded by family until her passing.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Lois Krugh; her sons, Carl Davidson and Jerry Davidson; her grandchildren, Garrett, Grant, and Locke; and her great-grandchildren, Wilder, Eliana, and Josiah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby; her sisters, Anna Mae and Dorothy; and her parents, Guy and Maggie Cutshall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Betty's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
