Betty Ann Arnett (nee Schulte), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late James Melvin Arnett; cherished daughter of the late Ray and Josephine Schulte. Devoted mother of Joyce (Paul Sneed) Sneed, Maria (Dan) Podorski, the late David (Tammy- living) Woolf, and the late Mary Ann Woolf; loving grandmother of Clayton Woolf, Danielle (Nathan) Doyle, Casey (Keysha) Williams, Mark Wood, Jr., Michaela Wood, Brandon (Amber) Woolf, and the late David (Jen-living) Woolf; treasured great-grandmother of 13; dear sister of Harry Schulte and Charlotte (Bill) Sneed, the late Raymond (Bonnie-living) Schulte, the late Patricia (Gary-living) Havring, and the late Pam (Dave-living) Chastain; a host of nieces nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Betty, a skilled seamstress with a wealth of experience, dedicated a significant portion of her career to JC Penney's alterations department. Following her retirement, she embarked on a new venture by establishing her own alterations business at home. Beyond her proficiency in clothing alterations, Betty reveled in the art of crafting, creating intricate ornaments that showcased her creativity. A true artisan, she immersed herself in various crafts, including quilting, cultivating a bountiful garden, and indulging in the culinary arts. Betty's kitchen was a hub of delightful aromas, where she perfected the art of crafting delectable treats like chocolate peanut butter balls, cream horns, and chocolate chip cookies. Her love for boating and a deep appreciation for the outdoors reflected her adventurous spirit. Amidst her diverse interests, Betty found companionship in her cherished cat, Coco, making her life a tapestry woven with a rich array of passions and pursuits. Betty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
