Bessie Louise Edwards (nee Stephens), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the age of 88. Preceded in death by her father, Albert Benjamin Stephens; mother, Sally Lorena Stephens; siblings Charles Stephens, Albert Stephens, Maisie Hendricks, Barbara Britton, Jenny Davidson, Jean Jones, Esther Miller, and Ella Osborn.



Bessie was a member of Gateway Church of the Nazarene. She was a woman of great faith and was very dedicated to her church. Bessie loved playing piano and singing for her church. In her free time, she liked working on embroidery and taking time to travel all over. Family was very important to her, she loved spending time with them. Bessie loved playing bean bag baseball (also known as corn hole). She was very competitive and was always on the winning team. Bessie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.



Memorials may be made in Bessie's name to American Heart Association.
