Beloved wife of the late Carlos "Tom" Mayes; loving mother of Patty (Junior) Wilson and Danny (Betty "BJ") Malone; proud grandmother of Tom (Cindy) Wilson, Tina (Robert) Johnson, Joey (Jennifer) Turnbough, Patrick Thompson, Patrick Arbuthnot, Brian (Kari) Malone and Michael Malone; dear sister of Betty (Bill) Hargrove and Don (Kathy) Cunningham; special friend of Hank Miller; dear aunt and friend. Preceded in death by parents Elza Cunningham and Alpha Newsom. Mrs. Mayes was a homemaker. She was an avid Cardinal's fan. She also loved bowling with the Robinettes Bowling League at Crest Bowl and going to garage sales.
