Bernice Matt (nee Brunk), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Matt, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Bertha Brunk; devoted mother of Pamela (Craig) Behsman, Nicholas (Linda) Matt, Jr., Hugh (the late Darla) Matt; loving grandmother of Babette (Matt) Kole, Josephine (Joseph) Hoelting, Christina (Leonardo) Aguilar, Nathaniel Matt, Nathasha (Josh) Cramer and Ariel (Jacob) Schmitt; dear sister of Herbert Brunk, the late Mamie Oslie, the late Francis Christy, and the late Phyllis Loge.
Bernice was a member of Womens’ Society at First United Methodist of Grand Forks, ND. She was a bookkeeper all her life. Bernice loved learning about family history, her side and her husband’s, and cooking for her family. Bernice was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
