Bernard “Bernie” Voelkl

Voelkl, Bernard Allan “Bernie,” of Saint Charles, MO, died on Tuesday November 22, 2016, at the age of 75. Loving husband of Faye Voelkl for nearly 42 years; beloved son of the late Bernard J. and Lucille Voelkl; devoted father of Scott (Jacklyn) Voelkl, Tim (Jennifer) Voelkl, Jennifer (Mark) Bannecker, and the late Russell Voelkl; cherished grandfather of Kelcie, Lucy, Andrew, Jackson, Isabella, Maggie, Simon, and William; step-grandfather of Kailtin and Michael; dear brother of Carol (the late John) Belhorn, Marilyn (Bob) Curry, Kathleen (Wess) Hall, and Michael (Dawn) Voelkl; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Bernie proudly served his country in the United Stated Navy. He loved to watch his kids and grandkids play sports. Bernie was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
