Bennett Christopher Strick

On October 28, 2023, the world lost a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend, when Bennett Strick passed away after a tragic dirt biking accident in Ocotillo Wells, CA.

Bennett was born to parents Lynette and Brian Strick on August 6, 2003, in Mission Viejo County, California, and grew up in San Diego, California.  He attended Poinsettia Elementary, Aviara Oaks Middle School, was a 2021 graduate of Carlsbad High School, and was attending a local community college, with dreams of being a firefighter.

Bennett’s passions included spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball, dirt biking, surfing, fishing, boating, and snowboarding. Bennett loved having the wind in his face and wearing a big smile on his face.

Bennett had a heart of gold and was loved by all those who knew him. He was a sweet, kind, fun-loving, and exuberant young man. He had a terrific sense of humor, and a beautiful laugh, and put a smile on the faces of all those he touched. His goofiness, his love of life, his laughter, and his smile were infectious. We will miss Bennett’s big, beautiful smile and kind soul.

Bennett is survived by his loving parents, Lynette and Brian, and his sister Addison.
