Benjamin Fifer

Fifer, Benjamin John, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the age of 25. Beloved son of John and Susan Fifer; dear brother of Stephen Fifer and Elizabeth Fifer; cherished grandson of Mickey Fifer; survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gordon Fifer and maternal grandparents, Robert and Tillie Turner. He graduated from St. Charles High School in 2004 and Missouri State University in 2008. Ben was an Eagle Scout in BSA Troop 351 and a Soldier in the B Company 1-138th Infantry of the National Guard. He was also an avid Star Wars fan. Ben had a great smile, loved life, and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at SSM-St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Louis University Hospital and Washington University/Barnes for their care and compassion during Ben’s illness. Memorials may be made to BSA Troop 351 in care of Susan Fifer.
