Becky Jo Bubenik

Becky Jo Bubenik (nee Bryan), of Bridgeton, MO, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of Jim Bubenik; cherished daughter of the late Roy and Shirley Bryan; devoted mother of Drew (Jennifer De Angelis) Dickinson; loving grandmother of Emalyee Dickinson and Marlee De Angelis; dear sister of Jeff (Sandy) Bryan and Skip Bryan.

Becky was married to the love of her life, Jim, for 16 wonderful years, during which they enjoyed traveling abroad, taking fun trips together, and watching movies. A longtime journalism teacher at Fort Zumwalt North High School, she was exceptionally intelligent, deeply valued education, and was dedicated to ensuring her students were able to read and learned the best they could. She had a special passion for helping the kids who needed support the most, touching the lives of countless students throughout her career. Becky later spent many years substitute teaching before retiring. Though opinionated, she was also easygoing, honest, and always well put together, taking pride in dressing nicely. She was dainty. She loved being a grandmother, cherished her family, and could always be counted on to show up and do whatever was needed, doing it well. Becky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
