October 16, 1946 – September 8, 2015

Traveled with angels to God’s side while surrounded by her husband and family.

Loving wife of David Hillstead; beloved daughter of the late Finis and Helen Pruett; devoted mother of Brian Hillstead and Kathi (Scott) Mikelson; cherished grandmother of Randy, Spencer, and Gavin;  loving Sister-in-law, Aunt, Cousin, and devoted to many friends.

Beckie loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed vacationing in The Villages, Florida with dear friends she met through the years. Beckie had a passion for education and was a dedicated special education teacher at Hardin Middle School in St. Charles School District for over 20 years.  Her laughter, love, and passion for life will never be forgotten.
