Barbara Adele Crosby, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away May 15, 2025, at the age of 77.
Barbara was the cherished wife of Patrick Crosby, with whom she shared 30 years of loving marriage. She was mother to Angela Maxwell, Richard (Tara) Blunt, Toni Crosby, and Cherlyn (Jennifer) Crosby-Herberts. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren—Tresa, Taylor, and Avery—and to her great-grandchild, Peyton.
Barbara was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, and brother Eugene (Becky) and is survived by her brother Bruce.
She had a distinguished 40-year career with McDonnell Douglas, later Boeing. Her contributions left a lasting impact on her workplace and colleagues.
Barbara found joy in her garden, planting flowers and tending to her ponds. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
Known as the memory and tradition keeper of the family, Barbara celebrated every holiday with heartfelt enthusiasm. She created cherished memories through family game nights, Easter egg dying, pumpkin carving, and her beloved Christmas Cookie Day—traditions her family will carry on in her honor.
Known fondly as “Barb,” she will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she gave to those close to her.
A visitation will be held at Baue Funeral Home St. Charles on May 21, 2025 from 9:30 - 11:00 AM .
A private service and burial will follow.
Barbara’s legacy of love, resilience, strength, and joyful tradition will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
