Barbara Lee Bunker

Barbara Lee Bunker (nee Barbara L. Gregg), of Lenexa, KS, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Anthony Bunker; cherished daughter of the late Arthur Benjamin and Julia Gregg; devoted mother of Dr. Julie (Pat) Connor, Jeff (Ruth) Connor, the late Kellie (Paul) Dubuque, Annie M. Cammarata, John J. (Sherri) Giblin Jr., Katie (Don) Buchholz, Kelly Ray, Micki (Jeff) Meyers, and Dan (Judy) Giblin; loving grandmother and great-grandmother; dear sister of the late Patricia (Gregg) Hulsey, Margaret (Gregg) Leffler, and the late Guy Gregg; treasured aunt, friend, and passionate dog lover. Barbara was also preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph John Connor, and her second husband, John J. Giblin, Sr.

Barbara was a devout member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa, Kansas, and a former member of Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, where she was active in the Senior Group and served on the Pantry staff. She also served on the Barnes St. Peters Auxiliary Board and retired in 1992 from DePaul Health Center as Assistant to the President. Barbara took great pride in volunteering at the Lakeview Village Library in Lenexa, Kansas, and was a member of the Lit-Wits Book Club in St. Louis, Missouri, reflecting her love for reading. She enjoyed traveling, cherished her children deeply, and had a special passion for dogs. Barbara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
