Aurelia "Jane" Farkas

Aurelia Farkas of St. Charles Missouri peacefully passed away at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Mary Meyer and her beloved husband Jim.

Aurelia was the proud mother of Stephen (Mary) and Linda (John) Beaver; her grandchildren Sarah (Robert) Thorsness, the late Jessica (Matthew) Budde, the late Matthew Farkas, Michael (Kristen) Beaver, and Melissa Farkas and her great grandchildren Annabelle Thorness and Lydia Thorsness.

Over 30 years Aurelia was a faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus and an active and devoted participant in the church's 50+ club. Aurelia took pride in the many friendships made and the good work of the organizations. Aurelia had a welcoming personality and never met a stranger. She was a world traveler who made many exciting memories with her late husband, Jim. There wasn't a thing she wouldn't do for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Aurelia loved the outdoors which you could tell by her beautiful flower beds. Aurelia prayed the rosary multiple times a day for anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Memorials may be made in Aurelia's name to Special Olympics Missouri.
