Aurea T. “Rea” Porter

Porter, Aurea "Rea", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the age of 83. Dearest wife of the late George Michael Porter; dear daughter of the late Charles J. and Eleanor Eckhard; loving mother of Michael L. (Dee) Porter, Gary R. (Carol) Porter, Donna M. (Roger) Shults, Jerome P. Porter, Kevin D. (Michelle) Porter, Keith A. (Lori) Porter and the late Linda Seeler; dear mother-in-law of Roger Seeler; beloved grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 6. She is preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters. Rea enjoyed cooking, bowling and traveling and was proud of the fact that she was the "baby" in her family (15th of 15 children). Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
