Shield, Audrey J., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late John Ray Shield; beloved daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Booth; devoted mother of Karla J. Donnell; dear sister of Jean Booth and Melinda Robertson; special friend of Patrick and Jill Higgins; cherished aunt of Brian (Julie) Fry; treasured great-aunt of Maggie and Adam Fry; dear adopted-grandmother of Jeremy (Elizabeth) Prenger; dear adopted-great-grandmother of Mikala and James Prenger. She is preceded in death by her siblings Shirley Booth, Wilma Robertson and George Booth, and her step-mother Mary Booth. She was a member of St. Charles Federated Women's Club and on the Board of, Festival of Little Hills In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
