Audrey L. Conoyer

Audrey Lois Conoyer (nee Dreher), of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Donald J. Conoyer; beloved daughter of the late John and Salome “Susie” Dreher; devoted mother of Donald J (Jill) Conoyer, Jr., Susan (Mike) West, Larry (Dianna) Conoyer, and Judy (Mike) Borgmeyer; cherished grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 13; dear brother, John (Betty) Dreher. Audrey was also preceded in death by her infant son, Steven Conoyer, and her grandson, Clayton Conoyer. 

Audrey married her husband, Donald on June 14, 1952.  She was an absolutely wonderful partner for Donald, and a good homemaker and mother who made sure everyone was always taken care of.  She also gave back to the community and was by her husband's side through everything.   

As a woman of faith, Audrey was a lifelong resident of St. Peter’s and a parishioner at All Saints Catholic Church.  She was a member of the Ladies Sodality, and she also taught Fifth Grade and was the school librarian for a short time.  She then went to work at the St. Peters Post Office and retired after 18 years of service as a mail carrier.   

Audrey loved the outdoors and tending to her flowers around the yard, which included roses, azaleas, lilies, irises, and tulips. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and baking, and she always made sure to have pies, cookies, and cakes for everyone.  She also liked gardening and canning her own vegetables.  

Audrey was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Memorial contributions may be made in Audrey's name to the Alzheimer's Association, Siteman Cancer Center, or All Saints Church for Masses.
