Arthur L. Kanak

Kanak, Arthur, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the age of 87. Dearest husband of Frances M. Kanak nee McTigue; dear son of the late Joseph and Jennie Kanak; devoted father of David (Charlene) Kanak, Jill (Michael) Hofer, Joseph (Kathy) Kanak and Daniel (Peggy) Kanak; beloved grandfather of Matthew and Brian Hofer, Amy and Leah Kanak, Timothy and Adam Kanak; dear brother of Robert Kanak and his twin sister, Alice Houston; our beloved uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his sisters and brother, Gladys Furminger, Evelyn Monk, Marion Settelmayer, Joseph Kanak and Lois Masters. Arthur was employed as a Professor at Lindenwood University for 28 years; former owner of Fair Winds Travel Agency, a member of the St. Louis Artists Guild; Captain in U.S. Marine Corp, an avid golfer and member of Bogey Hills Country Club.
