Arthur F. O’Mara
January 25, 1929 — March 8, 2022
Arthur Francis O'Mara, of Saint Charles, MO, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy O’Mara (nee Winkelmann); cherished son of the late Lawrence and Ethel O’Mara. Devoted father of Kathleen (James) Radi, Patrick O’Mara, Molly (Mark) Rudy, and Mary (Stephen) Brockgreitens; loving grandfather of Joseph (Amanda) Radi, Matt Rudy, Mary (Jedidiah) Borja, Michael, Timothy and Catherine O’Mara, Kristina and Katherine Brockgreitens; treasured great-grandfather of Ethan, Liam, Alayla, Aleczander and Elli. He is preceded in death by his siblings and is survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Arthur was a retired carpenter and lifetime Union member. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Cletus Catholic Church. Art and his wife, Dorothy, loved to dance to the sounds of Big Band music. In his free time, he enjoyed watching football, playing bridge and reading books. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Arthur was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Arthur's name to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Cletus Catholic Church.
