Loving husband of Sylvia Kolkmeier; beloved son of August and Bertha Kolkmeier; devoted father Karen (Chuck) Gelber, Jean (Alan) Nieweg, and Glen Kolkmeier; dear brother of Ethel ( John) Nolle and Harlan (Darlene) Kolkmeier; cherished grandfather of Kimberly Wehmeyer, Jill Gelber, Michael Nieweg, Travis Nieweg, and Kevin Gelber; treasured great-grandfather of Brayden Wehmeyer. He was preceded in death by his siblings Omar Kolkmeier, Grace Thompson, and Louise Sommer.
