Arlie Gene Jungermann

Arlie Gene Jungermann, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline Helene Jungermann; cherished son of the late Agnes and Emil Jungermann; devoted father of Kim (Dawn) Jungermann, Karey (Rocky) Morgan, and Jeff (Janet) Jungermann; loving grandfather of Eva, Nicole (Brad), Trae (Dawn), Ryan (Jenna), Kayla (Asa), Kelsey, and Luke, and loving great-grandfather of Madylin, Jack, Jane, Lexi, Max, Reed, Owen, Sutton, Asa, and Levi.

Arlie was a general contractor by trade, but he will be remembered most for the way he lived his life- with optimism, humility, kindness, and a great sense of humor. He was married to the love of his life, Jacqueline, 72 wonderful years before her passing in 2024. Together they shared a lifetime of adventures, traveling, spending time with their close circle of friends, playing cards, enjoying trips to the Lake of the Ozarks, and spending time at their home in Florida. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Arlie loved golf, tennis, basketball, baseball, and even boxed in the Golden Gloves during his younger years. His competitive spirit and dedication to staying active continued throughout his life as he participated in the Senior Olympics. Arlie was the most positive person, laid-back, supportive, modest, and always ready with a joke or a smile. He had a remarkable ability to brighten the day of those around him. Whenever someone asked how he was doing, his signature response was, “A little bit better than perfect.” Arlie was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Arlie's name to the Alzheimer's Association .
