Beloved husband of Ruth Ell (nee: Post); loving father of Cathay Angert, Tom Ell, Joan (Floyd) Cotton, Peggy (George) McKinnies, Judy (Rick) Lee, Mark (Lisa) Ell, Bob (Donna) Ell, and Joe (Shannon) Ell; dear brother of Marcella (Virgil) Post; proud grandfather of 20, great-grandfather of 15; preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Catherine (nee: Ochs) Ell;, daughter, Linda Sue (Brackett) Larkins; and sisters, Gertrude Caselton and Otill Riley. Mr. Ell worked for Cupples Manufacturing in St. Louis for 20 years and then became employed by the Laborers Local Union #110 for 20+ years. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the St. Vincent DePaul Society
