It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Eric Faulkner, born on September 23, 1935. Tony departed this life peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.
Tony was the beloved husband of the late Carol R. Faulkner, with whom he shared a life full of devotion and warmth. He was a loving father to Karen Williamson (John), Phyllis Kale (Tom), Dan Faulkner (Denise), and Robert Faulkner. He was a proud grandfather to John Faulkner, Dana Faulkner, and Scott Kale (Regan), and a joyful great-grandfather to Theodore Anthony Kale, who carries his name and spirit.
A proud United States Marine, Tony served with honor and distinction, teaching fellow Marines on the rifle range. He was the embodiment of "Semper Fi"- always faithful- and remained deeply proud of his service throughout his life. Tony dedicated over 40 years to Butler Supply, where he served as a respected Manager. His strong work ethic and positive attitude made a lasting impact on coworkers and customers alike.
An avid golfer, Tony found joy on the greens and loved nothing more than a sunny day spent golfing with good friends. Off the course, he was known for his infectious smile, cheerful spirit, and unshakable optimism. His family adored him, and his love for them was evident in all he did. In his later years, Tony made his home at Gardenview Nursing Home, where he continued to brighten the lives of those around him. Caregivers and staff appreciated his sharp wit and sense of humor, which remained intact until the very end.
Tony's life was a testament to strength, kindness, and quiet joy. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's name to The Alzheimer's Association.
