Anthony S. "Tony" DiCarlo, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Doris DiCarlo; devoted son of the late Rosaria and Biaggio DiCarlo; loving father of Cynthia (William) Owings; cherished grandfather of Ashley (Alan) Alyas and Michael (Taylor) Glenn; precious great-grandfather of Lily Alyas and Anthony “Tony” Glenn; dear brother of Louis DiCarlo. He is survived by a host of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings Lee Kauffmann, Mae Tregressor, Kay Roehrich, Marie Sansone, Sam DiCarlo, and Jack DiCarlo.

Tony proudly and honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had an amazing work ethic and was dedicated to many organizations within his community. Tony was the Vice President of the Printing Union Local 409. He was a member of AmVets Post 11. In his youth, Tony enjoyed playing corkball, baseball, and enjoyed participating in bowling leagues with his close friends and family in the St. Louis area into his middle age. Through his life, Tony was also an avid Cardinals baseball fan.

Tony was married to his wife, Doris, for 68 years. With shared memories to last a lifetime, it all began with a single dance shared between the two. Tony loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his daughter, his grandkids, and his great-grandkids. Tony was incredibly generous, actively donating to charities, especially those supporting children in need.

Tony was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project in Tony's name to honor his time served as an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
