Ann M. Rother

Ann M. Rother (nee Schwerdtmann), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of John H. Rother; cherished daughter of the late Edgar and Julia Schwerdtmann; devoted mother of David (Errin) Rother, and Suzanne (Eric) Terrell; loving grandmother of Brent Terrell; dear sister-in-law of Jacquelyn Marshall Rother, the late Mary (Ian) Cooper, and Paul Rother; precious aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann was a devoted wife, loving homemaker, and dedicated volunteer whose life was marked by service to her family and community. She was employed at Lutheran High School in St. Charles for 10 years and generously shared her time as a Girl Scout Leader and through her involvement with the St. Charles County Historical Society. Ann enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and cooking, and she found great joy in preserving family history as an avid genealogist. She is survived by John, her beloved husband of 61 years and 8 months. Ann was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
