Ann Jonel Jackson

Ann Jonel Jackson (nee Mattingly), of Bridgeton, MO, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Donald “Dane” Jackson; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel Mattingly; devoted mother Mary Susan (James) Barnhart; loving grandmother of Matthew (Bridgette) Barnhart, Eric (Brigitte) Barnhart, and Mark (Kristin) Barnhart; treasured great-grandmother of Jonathan Barnhart, Genevieve Barnhart, Ian Barnhart, Michael Barnhart, Savannah Barnhart, Logan Barnhart, and Daisy Barnhart; dear sister of the late William “Ivan” (Vernell) Mattingly, and the late Rita (George) Klosterhoff; precious aunt, cousin, and friend.

Ann worked as an office manager, but her most treasured role was being a wife. She was devoted to her family and friends, loved sewing, and was always ready to listen—often spending hours on the phone making others feel heard. If you knew Ann, you were family. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
