Anita L. Knight

Anita L. Knight (nee Niermann), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 77. Loving wife of the late Claude C. Knight; beloved daughter of the late Heinrich "Henry" Niermann and Olive "Ollie" Hortig; devoted mother of Joshua (Leslie) Knight and Ted (Jesse) Knight; cherished grandmother of Emma Knight, Eli Knight, Owen Knight, and Wren Knight; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Anita is also preceded in death by her sisters, Edna (Mal) Murphy and Charlotte (Tom, survives) Woods.

Anita was a devoted member of P.E.O. Chapter FM and a cherished member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Missouri, where she found joy in singing with the choir. Anita attended Bible study groups at church and enjoyed being a member of her book club. She especially loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Anita was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
