Angela Marie Uhles of Weldon Spring, Missouri, born Angela Marie Curia on September 1, 1966, passed away peacefully at home on February 20, 2026, after a courageous 15-year battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family.
Angela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael Uhles, whose steadfast support and devotion never wavered. She leaves behind her two beloved children: Heather Thomas and her spouse Derek, and Amanda Uhles. Angela was a proud and adoring "Nana" to Austin (12) and Isaac (7), who brought immense joy and light to her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and James Curia, who raised her with the values of faith, kindness, and compassion that she carried throughout her life.
Angela was a woman of deep Christian faith, which sustained her through life’s greatest challenges. She was known for her gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering kindness. She treated everyone she met with dignity and grace, and she always put the needs of others before herself.
One of Angela’s greatest joys was giving to others. She loved surprising family and friends with thoughtful gifts, often finding small ways to make someone feel special and remembered. Her generosity extended far beyond presents — she quietly helped so many people over the years, offering encouragement, support, and practical help whenever it was needed. She gave freely of her time, her heart, and her resources. She faithfully supported a number of charities over the years and continually looked for meaningful ways to give back to others.
Though her journey with illness was long and difficult, Angela faced it with remarkable strength and quiet courage. Her love for her family remained her greatest focus and proudest accomplishment.
Her favorite Scripture verse gave her strength:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
Her family finds peace in knowing she is now healed and in the arms of Jesus, reunited with her parents, and resting in eternal peace.
Angela’s legacy lives on in the faith she shared, the love she gave so freely, and the family who will carry her memory forward.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
