Angela Renee Batchelor

Angela Renee Batchelor, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024, in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born on August 22, 1957, in Denmark, Tennessee, to Warlene Patricia Greer and Jerome Batchelor. Angela was a proud resident of St. Charles, Missouri, a 1975 graduate of St. Charles High School, graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1978 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and achieved her master’s degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis in 1980. Angela worked as a special education teacher in the Francis Howell School District for more than 30 years. She loved taking care of children, and through her compassion along with patience, she always had the ability to make anyone smile. Angela is survived by her mother Warlene Reed, partner Christopher A. Roberts, brother, Dr. Edwin Batchelor (Tana Feiner), sister Hon. Lajuana Counts, brother, Byron Reed (Katy Diaz) half-siblings Ira Hill, Carl Batchelor, Vearndell Stitts, Franz Batchelor, Reginald Williamson, stepchildren Nikki Wilson (Chris Wilson), Christopher Roberts, Dr. Lauren Cummings (Dr. Chris Cummings), Angela Roberts, nieces Jene Counts, Michelle Counts, nephew Steffan Counts, great-nieces Noelle, Nyla and Nia Counts-James, and grandchildren Thomas Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Benjamin Cummings, James Cummings and Charlotte Cummings, along with a host of other loved ones. 

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life ceremony at Baue Funeral Home 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, Missouri August 3, 2024, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm honoring Angela’s life.
